Had a great experience in this place with my wife. The food arrives quickly and the customer service is just excellent. Prices are fair.

This is one of a chain of restaurants in New York City that happens to be in the midst of the Times Square theater district. Given the crazy crowds before and after show times it is amazing that the staff even comes close to keeping it at all together. However, it is totally convenient and mostly tolerable if you do have a show to catch. Prices are high but fair considering where you are. The food is acceptable, sometimes better than that, but, importantly for theater goers, it is prompt and reasonably efficient. No one goes to Times Square for the food so, given that, Haru is definitely worth your pre or post theater attention. Just be sure to have a reservation made well ahead of time.
